Kuala Lumpur: Peluang, Impian, Harapan tells of the chances, dreams and hopes of people all somehow linked to metropolitan Kuala Lumpur.

We learn what Kuala Lumpur means to a group of traditional performers (Ghazal Party) in Kedah, who constantly dream of performing in Kuala Lumpur; and to a group of young graduates who have the scroll but can't find a job; and also of the changes in Kuala Lumpur now, as compared to 1974.

These three different stories meet in one place: Kuala Lumpur, where the answers may or may not be found.

Staged in conjunction with the Federal Territory Day 2009, the performance is a collaboration of four theatre groups: Mekar Budaya Production, Angkatan Karyawan Aktif Kuala Lumpur, The Arts Stage Club Selangor and LXQ Production.

This full-length play is the combined directorial effort of M.Nasri Ayob - Artistic Director (Mekar Budaya), Esnani Elias - Director (Angka), Fasyali Fadzly - Director (The Arts Stage Club), and Shahrul Mizad Ashaari - Director (LXQ Production).

Starring Shahrul Mizad Ashaari, Ahmad Iswazir Ismail, Ku Yusri Ku Abdul Rahman, Lvin Mohsin and Nur Ameera, with a special appearance by Yusri Edo (winner of reality show Raja Lawak Season 1).
